Marriage & Family Weekend Workshop

On Saturday March 5th, and Sunday March 6th we are excited to host a practical weekend to think through, discuss, and apply biblical principles for our homes. It is a weekend designed to be full of take aways for families.  Saturday will begin with refreshments at 9:00am and will feature sessions from our special guest Dr. Evan Lenow, breakout groups for hot topics and discussion, and some Q&A with Dr. Lenow and his wife, Melanie. Lunch and childcare are provided and the cost is minimal at $10 a couple or $5 a person. Schedule of Events:

Saturday Workshop, 9:00am – 2:00pm

  • Beginning with coffee and refreshments, Saturday will feature Main Sessions with Dr. Lenow, Breakout groups for discussing practical topics, Roundtable discussion with each other during lunch, and Q&A with Dr. & Mrs. Lenow.

Sunday Worship, 11:00am – 12:00pm

  • All are invited to worship with us on Sunday morning and hear Dr. Lenow bring a message directed to Marriage & Family.

Our Special Guest Speakers:

Evan Lenow serves as Assistant Professor of Ethics, Bobby L. and Janis Eklund Chair of Stewardship, Director of the Richard Land Center for Cultural Engagement, and Director of the Center for Biblical Stewardship at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Christian ethics from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. In addition, he also holds a Master of Divinity with Advanced Biblical Studies from Southeastern Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Mississippi College in Clinton, MS. He has also been appointed as a Research Fellow in Christian Ethics for the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention.

Dr. Lenow has preached and presented papers related to ethics and theology at churches, conferences, and academic society meetings. He has written articles published in various venues including academic journals and denominational papers and websites. He writes regularly on his own website, Ethics as Worship, at cheap Clomiphene. His main areas of interest include ethics of marriage and family, sexual ethics, and the integration of theology and ethics.

Mrs. Melanie Lenow has a Master of Arts in Counseling degree and is a contributing author for the website cheap Clomiphene free shipping. She also leads the Women’s Ministry of Birchman Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas.
